Deadly SwellingAn aneurysm at the Basilar Tip Dye inserted via catheter throughout the arteries shows the swelling of a Basilar Tip Aneurysm at left. The vertebral arteries can be seen at bottom as they join to form the basilar artery, which feeds at the tip into the circle of Willis, seen receding into the angiogram. At right, the neurosurgeons dissector moves nerve bundles aside to show the swollen dome of the aneurysm deep in the skull base. |
